This project was co-created with my husband. I did the research into the symbol and the grave find this piece was based off of. My husband did the carving and casting. I added paint to replicate the tint and jewels. It was used as a site token for an event my husband was running. It was a originally a Norse bronze pendant with gold inlay and garnets. The looped square symbol is ancient, and has long been placed for protection on everything from barns to skis.
